North London Physiotherapy have been providing specialist private physiotherapy services (neurological rehabilitation and musculoskeletal) across North London boroughs for over 10 years. Our service supports a voluntary Multiple Sclerosis exercise class, “MS Fitness Force” based in Crouch End; we are trusted by our clients and have built strong relationships with local consultants.
Opportunities
At North London Physiotherapy's domiciliary service we have exciting opportunities for dedicated and highly motivated Senior Neurological Physiotherapists (Band 6+). As a self-employed Senior Neurological Physiotherapist with North London Physiotherapy, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care to clients within their own homes. You will have the chance to work with a diverse range of neurological conditions, assisting our clients in achieving and maintaining their desired level of health, function and well-being.
Working hours are completely flexible, full-time or part-time, you can work as much or as little as you like. North London Physiotherapy provide your clinical case-load, equipment, diary and admin support including client billing.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Excellence: Deliver evidence-based, Safe, Effective, Caring, Well-led, and responsive clinical care to clients, within domiciliary and community settings, adhering to the highest standards of practice.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of treatment provided, ensuring compliance with professional, clinical, and integrated governance standards.
- Advanced Practice: Apply recognised advanced practice neurological rehabilitation skills to optimise client health and wellbeing.
- Autonomous working: Demonstrate the ability to work safely and effectively within a domiciliary setting, without direct supervision.
- CPD Portfolio: Maintain a comprehensive CPD portfolio that reflects a wide range of physiotherapy experience, with a focus on neurological conditions.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with referrers, with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
Essential Requirements
- HCPC registered.
- BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy.
- Member of ACPIN
- Minimum of 2 years of specialised experience in neurology-related rehabilitation.
- Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role.
- Local candidates are preferable to reduce travel time between clients and wherever possible minimise car use.
